Author Guidelines

Conditions for submission
The language of publication is English. The paper should be written in clear, accessible language, which can be understood by those outside the author's area of specialization. Submission of a paper implies a commitment to publish in this journal. Only papers, which have not been previously published, and are not currently under consideration for publication by another journal are acceptable. Exceptions may be made in case if papers published in the proceedings of a conference or translated from another language.

Please edit your text as little as possible: on tabs or indentations, and such like. Paper should not exceed 5000 words (excluding references).

Author's name and affiliation
Attach a separate cover page giving authorship and institutional affiliation with complete address and fax number.

Abstract
An abstract of about 150 words describing the aims, methods, finding and conclusions must accompany the paper. Also a maximum of five key words should be given.

Tables and Figures
Higher quality artwork is required for all figures (maps, diagrams). Each table or figure should be processed in MS Word on a separate page and have a title and source. If you can not provide the material as a Word file, you can alternatively deliver it as Rich Text Format (RTF). The use of photographs should be avoided; and cost incurred by their use will be charged to the author. Tables should be given as the format used in the journal (with only three horizontal lines)

Please indicate the position of figures and tables in the text.

Section headings
Papers should be subdivided into sections. There should be an introduction, a conclusion and several other section headings. Use bold text for headings and italics for subsections. Further breakdown should be avoided.

References
References should be indicated in the typescript using the Harvard method of giving the author's name, and year of publication in parentheses. If several papers by the same author and from the same year are cited, a, b, c, etc. should put after the year of publication. The references should be listed in full at the end of the paper in the following standard form:

For books:
Matarana, H. and F. Varela (1987).  The Tree of Knowledge. Boston, Shimbala.

For articles:
Cremin, L.A. (1983). The problematics of eructation in the 1980s: some reflections on the Oxford Workshop. Oxford Review of Education, 9, pp. 33-40.

For chapters within books:
Elton, L. (1992). Models of collaboration and cooperation between Universities from North and south. In. B. Berendt and J. Stary Eds), Advanced Study Programmes for Key Persons and Cross-cultural Dialogue North-South-East-West, Frankfurt am Main, Peter Lang, pp. 39-48.

Titles of journals should not be abbreviated.

Notes
Footnotes to the text should be avoided

Submission
Papers should be submitted in plain text on CD using MS word as the preferred format. Three hard copies double-spaced and with wide margins are required. Nevertheless, papers may be submitted via E-mail to the Editor-in-Chief.

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
