Focus and Scope

Sri Lanka Journal of Aquatic Sciences is the journal of Sri Lanka Association for Fisheries and Aquatic Resources. It publishes articles in the field of aquatic sciences including limnology, aquatic biology and fisheries. Acceptable topics include aquatic ecology, biology of aquatic organisms, fish population dynamics, aquatic resources management, fishing gear technology, post-harvest technology, socioeconomic aspects of fisheries and aquaculture, farming systems and captive breeding of aquatic organisms. Articles may be research papers, short communications or review papers.

Peer Review Process

All articles submitted are examined by two or more referees prior to publication. No responsibility is assumed by the Sri Lanka Association for Fisheries and Aquatic Resources for statements and opinions expressed by the contributors to the journal.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
